These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Tech Geek Feltham, located at 2 Rochester Parade, High Street, Feltham, London TW13 4DX.
By using our repair services, purchasing products, or visiting our premises, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. ABOUT OUR SERVICES
1.1 Tech Geek Feltham provides repair and maintenance services for mobile phones, tablets, laptops, computers, and gaming consoles.
1.2 We also buy and sell used electronic devices, particularly iPhones.
1.3 All services are subject to availability and our technical capability to complete the repair.
2. REPAIR SERVICES
2.1 Diagnostics: We offer free diagnostics to assess the issue with your device.
2.2 Quotations: We will provide a quote before commencing any repair work. Prices may vary depending on the device model and parts required.
2.3 Authorization: Repairs will only be commenced once you have approved the quoted price.
2.4 Repair Times: Most screen repairs take 30-60 minutes. Battery replacements take 30-45 minutes. Complex repairs may take 2-4 hours or longer.
2.5 Parts: We use high-quality aftermarket parts unless original manufacturer parts are specifically requested and available.
2.6 Unsuccessful Repairs: If we are unable to repair your device, no charge will be made for the diagnostic service.
3. WARRANTY POLICY
3.1 Warranty Coverage:
- Screen repairs: 3 months warranty
- Battery replacements: 6 months warranty
- Other repairs: 3-6 months depending on the service
3.2 The warranty covers manufacturing defects in parts and workmanship only.
3.3 The warranty does NOT cover:
- Accidental damage after repair
- Liquid damage after repair
- Unauthorized tampering or repairs by third parties
- Normal wear and tear
- Software issues unrelated to our repair
3.4 To claim under warranty, you must present your original receipt.
3.5 Warranty repairs will be carried out free of charge if the issue is covered under warranty terms.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Data Backup: You are responsible for backing up all data on your device before repair. We are not liable for any data loss during the repair process.
4.2 Passwords and Security: You must provide any necessary passwords or security codes required to test the device after repair.
4.3 Device Collection: Devices must be collected within 30 days of repair completion. After 30 days, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee of £5 per day.
4.4 Devices uncollected after 90 days may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.
5. PAYMENT TERMS
5.1 Payment Methods: We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, bank transfer, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
5.2 Payment is due upon completion of the repair service before the device is returned to you.
5.3 Deposits: For high-value repairs or special order parts, we may require a deposit of up to 50% of the quoted price.
5.4 Prices: All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.
6. BUYING USED DEVICES
6.1 When selling your device to us, you confirm that:
- You are the legal owner of the device
- The device is not stolen, lost, or subject to any financing agreement
- You have removed all personal data and accounts (iCloud, Google, etc.)
- You have provided valid photo ID
6.2 We reserve the right to refuse to purchase any device.
6.3 Payments for purchased devices are made immediately in cash or bank transfer.
6.4 All device purchases are final and non-refundable.
7. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
7.1 We take every care when handling your device, but we cannot be held liable for:
- Pre-existing damage not disclosed at the time of booking
- Data loss (you must back up your data)
- Consequential losses arising from device downtime
- Damage to devices with liquid damage or previous repair attempts
7.2 Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service.
7.3 We are insured for public liability but not for individual customer devices.
8. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
8.1 We collect minimal personal information (name, phone number, email) necessary to provide our services.
8.2 Your personal information will be stored securely and used only for:
- Providing repair services
- Contacting you about your repair
- Warranty purposes
8.3 We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
8.4 We comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
8.5 You have the right to request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
9. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

10. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
10.1 You may cancel a repair booking at any time before work commences.
10.2 If work has already started, you will be charged for parts already ordered and labour completed.
10.3 Deposits paid for parts are non-refundable if parts have been specially ordered.
10.4 Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 days.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
11.1 All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Tech Geek Feltham and protected by UK copyright law.
11.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
12. GENERAL PROVISIONS
12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
12.4 If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
12.5 Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return and Refund Policy applies to products and services purchased in-store at Tech Geek Feltham, 2 Rochester Parade, High Street, Feltham TW13 4DX.
1. IN-STORE PURCHASES
1.1 Our Policy
All products are sold from our store for in-person collection only. We do not offer online sales or delivery services at this time.
1.2 Returns for Faulty Products
If a product you purchase is faulty, you have the right to:
- Return within 30 days for a full refund
- Request repair or replacement after 30 days (within warranty period)
- Return within 6 months if fault was present at time of purchase
1.3 Change of Mind Returns (Goodwill Policy)
While we are not legally required to accept returns for change of mind on in-store purchases, we offer a goodwill return period:
- 7 days from purchase date
- Product must be unused and in original packaging
- All accessories and documentation must be included
- Receipt must be provided
- Refund will be to original payment method
This goodwill policy does NOT apply to:
- Sale or clearance items
- Products that have been used or opened (except to inspect)
- Products without original packaging
- Gift cards or vouchers
2. FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

3. REFUNDS

4. EXCHANGES

5. MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
5.1 Manufacturer Warranty
Products sold with manufacturer warranties (Apple, Samsung, etc.) are covered by the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
5.2 Claiming Manufacturer Warranty

- Visit our store for assistance with warranty claims
- Proof of purchase required
5.3 Our Warranty (Refurbished Products)
Refurbished products sold by Tech Geek Feltham include our warranty:
- Refurbished phones: 90 days
- Refurbished laptops: 60 days
- Refurbished accessories: 30 days
Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not accidental damage or misuse.
6. REPAIR SERVICE REFUNDS
6.1 Cancelling Repair Services
- Before work begins: Full refund of deposit
- After work begins: No refund (parts ordered, labor started)
- After work completed: No refund (repair done as agreed)
6.2 Unsuccessful Repairs
If we cannot repair your device:
- No diagnostic charge
- No repair charge
- Full refund of any deposit
6.3 Our Repair Warranty
Repairs include warranty:
- Screen repairs: 3 months
- Battery replacements: 6 months
- Other repairs: 3-6 months
If repair fails within warranty period, we will re-repair for free or provide refund.
Warranty does NOT cover:
- Accidental damage after repair
- Liquid damage after repair
- Third-party repairs after our repair
7. EXCLUSIONS
7.1 We Cannot Accept Returns For:
- Products damaged by customer misuse
- Products showing signs of use (unless faulty)
- Products without receipt
- Products purchased from other retailers
- Products outside return period (unless faulty)
- Sale items (unless faulty)
7.2 Inspection of Returns
All returns are inspected before refunds are issued. We reserve the right to refuse returns that don't meet our policy requirements.
8. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
8.1 Consumer Rights Act 2015
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law. You have the legal right to:
- Products that match their description
- Products of satisfactory quality
- Products fit for purpose
- Return faulty products for refund within 30 days
8.2 When Your Rights Apply
Your legal rights apply when products are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. They do NOT apply to change of mind for in-store purchases.
